Jenny Lindbom
Strategic Procurement Manager
A Career Built on Trust and Transformation
Behind every technology breakthrough lies something equally important: the people who know how to transform ambitious ideas into reality. For Jenny Lindbom, Strategic Procurement Manager at Novatron Fusion Group (NFG), that transformation has been the focus of an entire career.
Across more than four decades in telecommunications, advanced manufacturing, medical technology and deep-tech innovation, Jenny has built a reputation for helping organizations navigate one of the most challenging journeys in industry: turning complex concepts into commercially viable products.
Along the way, she has developed a combination of strategic thinking, industrial expertise and trusted relationships that continues to make her an invaluable part of every team she joins. But if there is one theme that runs through Jenny's career, it is not procurement, manufacturing or technology. It is trust.
Jenny's professional journey has taken her through some of the most dynamic industries of the past forty years. Beginning in telecommunications before moving into private industry, she gained early experience in sectors undergoing rapid technological change and global expansion. Those years laid the foundations for a career that would become defined by adaptability, curiosity and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
From CDs to Fusion: A Twenty-Year Connection
One chapter that remains particularly memorable was her time at a company manufacturing production equipment for CDs and DVDs during the early 2000s. It was a period when demand was growing rapidly, technologies were evolving and supply chains were under constant pressure. Faced with a critical sourcing challenge during the middle of summer, when many suppliers had shut down for the holiday period, Jenny found herself searching for solutions.
A colleague who was always willing to go the extra mile offered assistance, explaining that he knew several local suppliers who might be able to help. Together they spent the day visiting companies and exploring options. That colleague was NFG founder Jan Jäderberg. More than twenty years later, when Jenny was approached about joining NFG, she immediately remembered the experience. “It was an easy decision,” she recalls.
The story says much about Jenny's own approach to business. Throughout her career she has learned that relationships built on trust, generosity and professionalism often outlast any individual project or organization. People remember those who solve problems, honor commitments and treat others with respect. Those values have become central to her own leadership philosophy and continue to shape the way she works today.

Bridging Innovation and Industrialization
One of Jenny's greatest strengths is her ability to bridge the gap between innovation and industrialization. Over the years she has worked in organizations of every size, from entrepreneurial start-ups to global corporations. She has supported technologies at every stage of development, from early concepts and prototypes through to fully commercial products serving customers around the world.
This experience has provided a unique perspective on what it takes to scale complex technologies successfully. While technical excellence is essential, Jenny understands that long-term success depends equally on supply chains, manufacturing capability, strategic partnerships and operational resilience. Bringing a product to market requires hundreds of interconnected decisions, and often the ability to anticipate challenges before they emerge.
After decades of experience, she has developed what she describes as a well-stocked professional toolbox. New challenges continue to appear, but few situations arrive without some familiar patterns or lessons from the past. Whether navigating supplier shortages, supporting rapid growth or managing industrial complexity, she draws upon a wealth of experience built across multiple industries and economic cycles.
Tested Under Pressure: Lessons from the Pandemic
Among the defining experiences of her career was her time in medical technology during the COVID-19 pandemic. Working with the production of ventilators and anaesthesia systems, she found herself operating at the centre of one of the most demanding supply-chain environments in modern history.
Global demand surged overnight while critical components became increasingly difficult to secure. Manufacturers, healthcare providers and governments were all competing for the same limited resources. The pressure was relentless. Yet the experience reinforced many of the principles that had guided Jenny throughout her career.
During the pandemic, organizations quickly discovered the value of strong supplier relationships. Companies that had invested years building trust, transparency and collaboration often found themselves better positioned to navigate shortages and respond to urgent needs. Jenny witnessed extraordinary examples of cooperation between suppliers, customers, governments and industry partners. She also saw how quickly challenges could be overcome when relationships were built on mutual respect and shared goals.
Looking back, she describes the period as intense and demanding, but also one of the most meaningful chapters of her professional life. It was a powerful reminder that resilience is rarely created during a crisis. It is built long before one arrives.

Reputation as Currency
Ask Jenny what has contributed most to her success, and the answer comes quickly: reputation. Throughout her career she has placed enormous importance on professionalism, integrity and fairness. Whether negotiating agreements, developing supplier partnerships or solving complex challenges, she believes trust must always come first. Her philosophy is simple. Successful business relationships should create value for everyone involved.
That approach has helped her establish long-standing partnerships across multiple industries and countries. Suppliers know where they stand. Colleagues know she will deliver. Partners know they can rely on her judgement. In an increasingly complex business environment, credibility becomes one of the most valuable assets a leader can possess.
When Jenny joined NFG, she was immediately impressed by the calibre of people around her. Coming from industries where technical excellence was already highly valued, she was nevertheless struck by the concentration of expertise across the organization. Scientists, engineers, industrial specialists and researchers had come together from different backgrounds, disciplines and countries to pursue a shared mission.
Just as importantly, she found a culture that values innovation and learning. Jenny speaks warmly about the willingness of colleagues to share knowledge and help others develop their understanding. It is an environment where expertise is respected, but curiosity is equally encouraged.
She also appreciates the emphasis placed on sustainable performance and wellbeing. One message has resonated particularly strongly: building something meaningful requires endurance. Long-term success is not achieved through short sprints of effort but through sustained commitment over time. It is a philosophy she wholeheartedly embraces.

Relationships, Trust and Reputation
It is perhaps no coincidence that someone whose career has been built on relationships finds her greatest enjoyment in the company of others. Even outside the office, Jenny's priorities are family, friends and nature to provide the balance that helps her recharge and maintain perspective.
Technologies change. Industries evolve. Markets rise and fall. Across more than forty years of professional life, Jenny has experienced all of it. Yet despite the constant pace of change, for Jenny certain principles remain consistent – relationships, trust and reputation.
Those principles have guided Jenny through every stage of her career, from telecommunications and manufacturing to medical technology and deep-tech innovation. They continue to shape the way she works today. For NFG, her experience, judgement and ability to build lasting partnerships bring tremendous strength to the organization. While breakthrough technologies may capture headlines, it is often people like Jenny, operating behind the scenes, who help turn ambitious visions into lasting achievements.
